The organizers

Meet Your Hosts

The organizers behind the Smoky Mountain Wash Retreat, a soft washing and pressure washing business retreat built by contractors, for contractors.

Jeremy Messer, Smoky Mountain Wash Retreat host

Jeremy Messer

Host

Jeremy Messer is a National Guard veteran, the owner of Kentucky Wash Pros and Kentucky Light Pros, host of the Wash Pros Podcast, and co-founder of the Smoky Mountain Wash Retreat.

After a failed lawn care business, he took the lessons from that setback and built Kentucky Wash Pros into one of Southeast Kentucky’s leading exterior cleaning companies. He started the retreat because the best part of any industry event is the conversations with other washers, and it has grown from 35 attendees to 90.

Jeremy has been married to his wife Amanda for 17 years, and they have three kids. He loves family time, sporting events, and traveling.

Mike Carmody, Smoky Mountain Wash Retreat host

Mike Carmody

Host

Mike Carmody (aka The Fresh Rinse) has been married to his wife, Melissa, for 34 years, and together they have three daughters and five grandchildren.

He has spent 34+ years in pastoral ministry, investing his life in serving, leading, and encouraging others.

Mike is also an entrepreneur with a passion for the pressure washing industry through Mike’s Pressure Washing, Ready Wash Systems, Fresh Rinse Media, and Xclusively Fresh. Whether in ministry, business, or family, Mike’s heart is to encourage others, build meaningful relationships, and leave a positive impact on the people around him.

Our core values

Built on what matters

Community

Relationships Over Competition

We believe this industry is better when we work together. The Wash Retreat is a place to build real relationships, share experiences, help each other, and create friendships that last long after everyone leaves Gatlinburg.

Growth

Better Together

Everyone has something to learn, and everyone has something to share. We believe some of the best growth happens when contractors sit around a table, ask real questions, share what’s working, talk about what’s not, and learn from each other’s experiences.

Family

People Come First

Business is important, but it’s not everything. The Wash Retreat is built to be family-friendly and welcoming. We want people to bring their families, slow down for a few days, enjoy Gatlinburg, and remember why we’re building these businesses in the first place.

Connect with fellow pressure washing and soft washing professionals, share insights, and create lasting partnerships.
